About

Rugged Reliability
Given the aircraft's robust design, flight characteristics and STOL performance, the WILGA 2000 has a wide field of operations including touring, flying clubs, glider/banner towing and skydive platform. With little modification, the aircraft can also be adapted to basic medical transport, agricultural services and patrol surveillance duties.

The aircraft is offered with conventional tail wheel landing gear in standard configuration. Floats and float attachments, skis and ski attachments, a heave duty glider tow attachment and a release handle with glider tow mirrors are offered as additional cost equipment over and above the standard aircraft configuration.

Quality
The WILGA 2000 features fixed full length leading edge wing slats which create increased wing lift characteristics at low airspeed, providing a high level of control to the pilot and excellent STOL performance for the aircraft.

The expansive windscreen and bubbled side windows, combined with the non-strutted high wing design, provide for unobstructed, all-around visibility and ground observation. In addition, a removable plate in the rear cabin floor area makes way for camera or FLIR installation, making the WILGA the ideal photographic/surveillance or news/traffic platform. The wide cabin doors (which may be removed for flight) provide easy access for passenger and equipment loading.

The robust undercarriage design of the WILGA 2000 includes a steering tail wheel with a shock loading and dampening system. The man gear are equipped with a heavy duty trailing link suspension, hydraulic tow brakes for pilot and copilot, and an integral parking brake. These features provide safer landing characteristics and excellent ground handling of the aircraft.

Technology
The WILGA 2000 is powered by the Textron Lycoming 10-540-K1B5 fuel injected 6 cylinder 300hp engine driving the Hartzell 3 blade constant speed propeller. This combination compliments the aircraft's reliability, performance, economy and serviceability.

The spacious cabin of the WILGA 2000 has been designed as a comfortable 4-place tourer plus baggage with the provision to easily unclip and remove the individual rear seats to accommodate larger payload area or installation of equipment. Other features include a high level individual ventilation system, a 4-place intercom, day/night instrument lighting with map lights and map stowage pockets. The aircraft is certified for IFR flight and is supplied in standard format with Bendix King or Garmin VFR avionics package.
